Payment will be taken in full at the time of ordering through the checkout on the website.
At the time of ordering you will choose your collection time from the options available at the checkout page. It is important that you adhere to these collection times. You will receive an email and text notification in the hour before your collection slot begins. These notifications will inform you about parking details and the number to contact when you arrive. Failure to arrive at your pre-arranged time may result in a delay to the handover of your order. If you fail to collect your product you will still have been charged the full balance at the time of ordering.
Delivery slots up to and including 31st October 2023 are available Thursday - Saturday between 12pm and 2pm for Zones 1&2 and between 4 and 6pm for Zones 3&4. There must be someone available at the address to accept the delivery in your chosen time slot. An additional charge will be added to your balance at the time of ordering for delivery.
Delivery to postcodes in zone 1 costs £10. Delivery to postcodes in zone 2 costs £15. Delivery to postcodes in zone 3 costs £25. Delivery to postcodes in zone 4 costs £35.

Changes to Order
If you need to make any changes to your order you can request this up to 5 days before your collection/delivery date by emailing email@example.com with "Order Change" as your email subject heading. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request but not all changes may be possible.
You may cancel your order free of charge (excluding wedding orders - see further details below) up to 7 days before your collection/delivery date. After that time if you cancel you will be charged for half of the full value of your order. The other half will be refunded to your card in the 14 day period following your cancellation request. To request a cancellation email firstname.lastname@example.org with "Cancellation" as your email subject heading.
In the case of an emergency or an error in your delivery or collection, please contact Benningtons immediately so that the issue can be fixed. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason or you think you have received an incorrect or incomplete order please contact Benningtons before you consume the product(s).
Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements
Please note that the majority of Benningtons products contain Eggs, Dairy, Soya and Gluten and several products contain Nuts. All products are made in the same kitchen and therefore nothing can be guaranteed free of traces of nuts. Email email@example.com with "Allergies" as your email subject heading if you have any questions regarding allergens or other ingredients.
Wedding orders require a deposit of £100 at least three months before your date with the remainder of your payment made at the latest three weeks before your date. If the deposit has not been received before or on the date 3 months prior to your wedding then the date will be made available for other customers to book. If the full balance has not been paid three weeks before your date then the wedding cake will not be delivered.
You can decide to request design or flavour alterations up to one month before your wedding date and every effort will be made to accommodate these. Benningtons reserves the right to increase the price of the cake accordingly if you decide to change to a more expensive option for design.
It is the responsibility of the wedding client to ensure that all location and delivery time information given is correct. Benningtons must be given at least an hour for set up time before the guests are due to arrive in the room where the cake is to be displayed. Please liaise with your venue and ensure there is an appropriate display area designated for your cake. Ensure that the display area is strong and stable enough to support the cake and that it is not underneath or beside any heating vents or radiators or in direct sunlight.
I will take extreme care when delivering and setting up your cake on your wedding date. Once it has been delivered it becomes the responsibility of the wedding client. Benningtons cannot be held responsible for any damage to the cake once it is in the care of the wedding client or venue. It is the responsibility of the wedding client to inform guests of any allergens in the cake if applicable to their guests. All cakes may contain traces of nuts.
As Benningtons offers a bespoke service only a limited number of Wedding Cake Orders can be fulfilled each week. Therefore if the wedding client cancels their cake within 3 weeks of their date it is unlikely that another wedding will be booked for that day in that limited time. The following cancellation charges apply: If cancelled between 3-4 weeks before the wedding date you will lose half of your deposit; if cancelled between 2-3 weeks before the wedding date you will lose all of your deposit; if cancelled within 7-14 days before the wedding date you will be required to pay 50% of the full balance of the cake order; If cancelled on or after 6 days before the wedding date you will be required to pay 100% of the full balance of the cake order.
